I was born in Kobe to Chinese parents and received nine years of Chinese-language education at a Chinese school in my hometown. As a result, I possess a bicultural background that spans both Japan and China in terms of language and culture.
Starting in 2022, I pursued an LL.M. program in China to systematically study Chinese law, while also gaining practical legal experience through internships at five local law firms. From the summer of 2024, I have been seconded to a Singaporean law firm for one year, where I primarily assist Japanese companies with corporate legal matters, focusing on Southeast Asian jurisdictions.
In today’s rapidly shifting global landscape, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia are not only geographically close, but also deeply connected in terms of business. Corporate mobility across these regions is extremely high. At the same time, differences in law, language, and culture often require close collaboration with local experts.
Throughout my studies and secondments, I have built an extensive professional network with law firms and accounting firms across China and the ASEAN region. Leveraging these connections, I can offer one-stop legal support for cross-border matters such as compliance checks, local legal research, market entry or exit, M&A, and litigation procedures.
If you are interested in working together or have any legal inquiries, please feel free to reach out.
